Summary
The final task is
about developing a storyboard based on the agreed story. Camera angles, color,
lighting, locations must be considered. Three props are given to make this
movie. The three items are durian fruit, rope and basket. We had to create a
story that involves those three props. After some discussion between our group
members, we have decided to do a romantic / thriller movie. Basically this
story is about a gentleman name Chip and a naughty girl name Sally. These
characters are played by the durian fruit. The story started of with Chip
hanging around in the park in the evening. Then, he saw Sally on the other side
of the park next to the ice cream stall. He was attracted to her the second he
saw her. Chip walked towards her and break the ice. The girl was impressed by
his bravery, so she decided to give it a try and get to know each other. They
walked to the car and Chip opened the car door for her. After that, they went
for a movie date together. Moving on, they went for a walked and chit chat.
Suddenly, they encountered a small river and there was no bridge that they can
go through to cross it. Luckily, there was an old basket and a rope at the side
of the river. Chip got an idea on how to cross the bridge safely. He asked
Sally to go first while he slowly monitor her crossing the river. Sally got
into basket and off she goes. When she reaches the other side, Sally met a new
good looking guy. She immediately ditch Chip for the new guy. Chip on the other
side saw what happened and he could not believe his eyes. He was furious
because the girl played with heart and took him for granted. He then, took a
piece of stone and threw it to Sally. The stone hit her head hard and she died.
The new guy just stood there in shocked. Out of the blue, a random human being
passes by and took the durian flesh and ate it. In the end, Chip was satisfied
and pleased because Sally earned the punishment.
Objective
The main objective of this short movie is to deliver
a message about never take someone’s heart for granted. Don't be reckless with
other people's hearts, and don't put up with people that are reckless with
yours.”
Concept
There
was no voice in the movie because we wanted to show the conversation between
the characters through a dialogue bubble. Audience will have to pay full
attention while watching the movie.
The storyboard of this film we create like a album style, very simple and easy to understand. This storyboard tell about the story line of this film. Below our storyboard of the film
