Learning Outcome (assessment)


Knowledge
1.      Demonstrate basic awareness of the leading practitioners within their field of study.
By the artist I influenced such as Neville Brody, actually he typographer and I like he skill in typography field. And his artwork for me have a story behind that like his artwork “free me from freedom”, for me the concept and the style very related and typo his use also imaged like freedom because have any color and typeface his use.

2.       Evidence an understanding of the historical context for the discipline.
I make a research and understand the historical context, for I get more knowledge from the artist, artwork I research. For me the historical contexts very important for my because it can help me for my project in this filed. Each my project should have a reaserch and references of my influenced artist and their artwork, because I should understand their historical context if I want do their project related with my influenced.

3.       Have a broad understanding of the wider applications, creative and commercial of their chosen field.
I have a broad understanding of the wider applications, creative and commercial in typography. Because I always make a research about typography and the artist. And each my project I will put the typography such as the font, typeface and creative design of typography. All that I make a references about that and I apply in my projects.

4.      Demonstrate an ability to analyse and distil a range of visual imagery and imformation.
I will demonstrate an ability to analyse and distil a range of visual and information, such as, I make a Visual Art Critical Analysis. The aim visual art critical analysis is for easy to I know about the material, artwork from the artist I influenced. From the visual art critical analysis I can know the history behind that like a date, how make, theme, style and techniques.

5.      Articulate their ideas in text form.
Do a research about their ideas, and try to understand it. Found out the keywords and apply it in our project. And make analysis or report about that.

6.      Present cogent arguments verbally.
Present cogent arguments verbally like do a presentation about our projects or ideas with our lectures or friends. We shuold present the whole thing what we done and understand about the task and try to get a oponion from other poeple. And we also should ask question with ourself about what we do like, “why i do?”, “how i do it”, “what i do?”, and so on, from that we can easy know what our purpose. And try to solve the problem we get in all the task and develop all thing what we learnt.

7.      Reflect on the appropriateness of their chosen media to the subject matter.
Reflect on the appropriateness of chosen media to the subject matter, I most like using internet to do the research, find the information, and find something new related with my field. For my I choose internet for the subject matters is internet can give all information what I want. In internet also I can communicate with other and discuss about this field, and I also can see the designer blog. To get a something new from them.

8.      Present an informed position regarding cultural and historical events relating to their discipline.
Present an informaed postion regarding cultural and historical events relating to their discpline, make a research about what I do and state the years of the historical. And find the historical behind what I research such as about typography, the aritist of graphic designer and so related with my gield. And I also present the regarding cultural such as I put some of the cultural I research in my artwork.

9.      Present a learning journal that reflects their research methodology.
Present a learning journal that reflects their research methodology. After I make a research. I will put the reach methodlogy with “Harvard Referencing”. Harvard referencing is the techniques how put the references about what I research with properly. It is more easy to I know about what I research for example, the date, the website, created by how and so on.

10.  Discuss and evaluate their own work in a group situation (self analysis)
Discuss and evaluate their own work in a group situation. For the example, find the 40 word do in one group for boys and grils. In the task the all group members should give the idea about that and we make the sentences together. And I also give some idea for that and I give cooperation with them. And I learnt how to manage a good team members.

11.  Contribute to seminars and critiques in relation to the work of their peers (group work)
Contribute to seminars and critiques in relation to the work of their peers like present the our blog to lecture and class members what we done and updates on the blog. And will make a simple discussion about that. After that, the lecture will give some advice and opinions about our blog and what should we add and update in our blog progress.
