Experimentation Of Material (Part 1)

Before I start my project, I should make some experimentation of the materials that I want to use. My plan is want use filter paper coffee but I can’t find it, and one more thing the filter paper just have standard size. Because of that I just make the experimentation on fabric, hard paper, paper plate, oil paper and envelope. From the all materials I, make in differences size such as the standard, small, circle and sphere. The reason that I make differences size is for make it like a pattern if I combined it together on board. And for the way folding the material also I make with two ways, like circle and sphere. After I finish folding the all materials, I start doing the filter coffee process (drip brewing guide or pour over coffee brewing). The coffee that I used is all from local brand like kopi kapal api, kopi cap tupai, kopi hang tuah and have another brand. For this experimentation of material I just use the bottle and cup to be a pour over coffee brewing because I didn’t make my own pour over coffee brewing for final. I just test which it can be successful or fail and from that I will explore further. After I finish the all thing of the progress, I let the filter dry for the a few minutes to see how the outcome will be and also how the pattern of the coffee on the materials.

Figure 5 : used a bottle to be drip brewing and I put the filter paper 

Figure 6 : put some coffee powder and pour a lite bite of water
